Established in 1941, Sturt is now the oldest craft centre in Australia featuring a multi award-winning craft and design shop, gallery, cafe, craft studios, courses and workshops, a collection of Australian craft and historic buildings and gardens.
Sturt Gallery is recognised nationally as a centre of excellence for the promotion and teaching of Australian craft. All products are made in Australia and are of the highest quality and materials. Of special interest is the ceramics, wood and textiles made on site by Sturt’s resident craftspeople. Sturt also presents exhibitions of fine craft and art by some of Australians finest artists each year.

Visitors can also wander through Sturt’s garden all year around.
